A recent study of the etruscan inscription incised on a bronze tablet, found in Cortona in 1993, is presented here. A number of corrections to the etruscan text are offered. As to the content, the author proposal is that the bronze tablet may record a series of duties for Petru Scevas: he must return some estates to the Cusu family, and other land in his possession becomes public. The three lists of names on the tablet may be arbiters, witnesses and persons charged with the conservation of the document.
