In this paper the Roman materials reused in Acerenza (PZ) are reexamined in their entirety and framed in the context of the municipium of Aceruntia, whose knowledge today remains only limited informations, essentially coming from epigraphs. Worthy of particular interest are two fragmentary lions and a Doric frieze in stone of probable funerary destination, so far only reported.
