This paper presents a small male torso found in the ancient city of Tyana, now Kemerhisar, Turkey. lt is a marble sculpture depicting an angler. The work, that draws its inspiration from a well-known Hellenistic iconography, is ascribing to an artist, connoisseur of the formal features of the school of Pergamo, working about in 200 A.D.
